Procedures for obtaining Birth, Death and Marriage Certificates

The Embassy of Jamaica can assist with applications by certifying relevant supporting documents. The applicant will be responsible for sending the documents directly to the Registrar General’s Department or via proxy.

Other services provided by the Registrar General’s Department include:

• Late entry of name;
• Addition of father’s particulars;
• Adoption;
• Late registration and Re-registration;
• Genealogical research.
